Design Mockups
A couple examples of high-fidelity UI and content mockups done in Figma. The first is a personal finance app and the second is a landing page for a furniture store’s website.
Mixed Methods Research

Product Photography & Web Design
A print media agency focused on Higher Ed publications hired me to do shallow depth of field photography of their magazine layouts and design a promotional website for their company using those photographs.
Research Paper
A graduate-level (cognitive psychology of HCI) research paper on the effects of screen-based wayfinding. Spatial knowledge retention, cognitive mapping, and allocentric vs. egocentric representations are all discussed.
Persona Creation
Proto-personas do hold some value for fostering empathy, especially when stakeholders create them during informal exercises. As a reference-worthy design artifact, however, a more research-heavy persona, possibly even highlighting a user participant, holds more value for the design team. Here’s my take on a research-heavy persona with less emphasis on personal traits and background and more focus on actionable research data.
Nonprofit Campaign Exercise
This capstone project aimed to conceptualize a nonprofit organization with societal benefits. After research into the problem space, a name, logo, and taglines were created alongside a full report on the goals and proposed direction for the charity. Below is a logo progression I completed in Illustrator, with the only self-imposed design requirement being the use of the hexagon shape to represent the beehive structure.
